Hamor guitars, founded by Michael Bougas, is located in a small workshop in Ioannina, Greece. Michael, born in 1987, has been a professional guitar player and instructor, while also having construction and carpentry knowledge. Now, as a luthier, he specializes in building solidbody electric guitars and basses and hand carved archtop guitars.

“After years of reading and experimenting, I started building my own custom instruments, entirely by hand, which I do until now. I prefer to have a continuous contact with the wood, because I believe it’s one of the best materials to work with. My goal is every instrument to be fully ergonomic and deliver unique sound and tone. For this purpose I use only fine quality tonewood that I choose myself, boutique handmade pickups, crafted here in Greece, and the best hardware available in the market. My philosophy, as a luthier and musician, is to build every instrument with the same passion and love, as I would build it for me…

It’s small size does not prevent it from having enormous willpower. This is why the symbolism of the ant reminds you that greate things take time, but with determination and consistancy, you can achieve everything.
